Grand Marais photographer Bryan Hansel offers fine art landscape photography, outdoor family portraits, photography workshops and photography classes on Lake Superior's north shore.
Bryan's images have been used by National Geographic, Lake Superior Magazine, Sea Kayaker Magazine, Ocean Paddler Magazine, Canoe and Kayak Magazine, Canoeroots Magazine and many more.
Bryan's photography workshops feature small class sizes, are three to five days long and happen four times a year. The workshops he offers are a February Winter Photography Workshop, an April Waterfall Photography Workshop, a September Fall Photography Workshop and a November Gales of November Photography Workshop. He offers private one-on-one photography instruction and small group workshops for clubs and groups of friends. He also teaches photography classes for the North House Folk School.
Bryan's portrait sittings are outdoors around Grand Marais. The season include an hour of on-location photography, and produce around 10 to 20 select images. He enjoys working with any size family.
