Ethnic Creations is a unique Finnish Gift Shop filled with handcrafted items, which reflect Minnesota's ethnic past here on the Iron Range. Everything is handcrafted and created by me, Debra Wiitanen, the owner and operator of Ethnic Creations. Offering wool felt boot pack Finnish Tossus in slippers or liners. Boiled wool mitts also for choppers, rag hats, rag rugs, pineneedle picture frame, cattail birdhouses, jewelry of birch bark and deer antler. Nature craft, pinecone wreaths and trees, birch candles, soap, needle art in knitting, crocheting, tatting and hardanger and continue to learn more.
Open Monday and Tuesday 10am - 4pm. Classes are offered in Quilting, Weaving, Spinning, Crocheting, Tatting, Knitting, Felting, Brizillion Embrodery, Hardanger.
