A year around pet friendly northwoods resort 43 miles north of Grand Marais on the Gunflint Trail, a nationally designated Scenic Byway.
Lakeside fireplace cabins, from 1 to 5 bedroom, have spa tubs, saunas, full kitchens, a full bath with every bedroom, and many have a washer/dryer. Year around naturalist activities are free to all guests. Summer activities include horseback riding, swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing (guides available), and the Towering Pines Canopy Tour. Winter activities include cross country skiing, dog sledding and snowshoeing. Full meal service is available - from hearty northwoods breakfasts to lunch soups and sandwiches (packed lunches to go are an option), and a range of dinners- from bistro style sandwiches and appetizers to full entree meals with a variety of desserts available. The lodge has a full beverage license.
