Our mission is to connect people to the history of Itasca County. We meet this mission by telling our stories in our museum, the Garland Gallery, where we tell the story of Frances Ethyl Gumm (Judy Garland) and her family, researching in our Karjala Genealogy and History Research Center, sharing our stories with traving exhibits and our museum store where we sell the picture "GRACE" the Minnesota state photograph that was taken in Bovey Minnesota.
