Our quaint family owned Minnesota resort offers outstandingly clean and newly remodeled housekeeping lakeside cabins for your family or fishing group. With the lodge and cabins situated only 25' from the water's edge on a quiet bay on Farm Lake, you can sip your morning coffee at the log kitchen table next to the large picture window as you watch the sun rise across the lake and the mother duck with its baby ducklings pass your dock. Are you more of a night person? Each cabin has its own fire ring and Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy an evening campfire or sit back and enjoy the quiet night sky with stars twinkling above and listen to the call of the loon. The kids will also delight in roasting marshmallows and making smores at your own fire ring before bedtime.

Located only 7 miles outside Ely Minnesota, Moose Track Adventures Resort has easy access to many recreational activities offered in and around Ely Minnesota: you can canoe into the Boundary Waters right from our docks, spend your early mornings/evenings out fishing in a motor boat on our 4-lake chain or go for a day hike on the Basswood Hiking Trail or Kawishiwi Falls Hiking Trail. Our Ely Minnesota resort is the perfect setting to experience the natural beauty of Ely, MN and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
Ely MN Fishing & Boundary Waters Fly-Fishing:
We offer Guided Canoe Trips as well as Guided Fishing, Guided Fly-Fishing and Guided Eco-Tourism Trips in the famous Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) and Quetico. Our guided Ely MN fishing trips will teach you techniques for fishing in northern Minnesota that will help you catch walleyes, northern pike and smallmouth bass in the BWCAW or Ely area lakes. The Eco-Tourism canoe trips will educate you with the flora, fauna and history of the Boundary Waters. With over 7,000 acres of trophy fishing available from your cabin door and with the Boundary Waters Canoe Area just a rod tip away, your fishing opportunities are endless.
Boundary Waters Outfitter for the BWCAW: Moose Track Adventures is a Boundary Waters Outfitter with direct access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Our base is located just 7 miles outside of Ely, Minnesota with an entry point just across from our docks with routes to various lakes and exit points. Other Boundary Water's entry points can be reached by either our van shuttle or your vehicle. As a Boundary Waters Outfiiter, we offer everything from a Complete Kevlar Canoe Package, to a Kevlar Canoe & Food Package, to just a kevlar canoe rental. We only rent high end canoeing and camping gear - such as Wenonah Kevlar canoes, Marmot and The North Face tents and sleeping bags and Kondos Expedition canoe packs. Boundary Waters trip planning is easy and we can take you through it step by step. Routing a canoe trip into the Boundary Waters or Quetico is a big responsibility, and it's a free service that we provide to our outfitting clients.
